day 01- a recent picture of you and 15 interesting facts about yourself

  1. I used to write random reports as a child… no reason, no place to turn them in… just for fun! I frequently researched animal life.
  2. I used to stay home from elementary school to watch scooby doo… that may or may not have been the start of my missing-at-least-40-days-of-school-each-year-in-high-school problem
  3. I was diagnosed with spinal arthritis as a child.
  4. I have extremely high standards for myself. This may be considered a good thing, seeing as it motivates me, but when i “mess up” and make mistakes i beat myself up like no other.
  5. I cry very, very easily.
  6. I go out of my way to make people feel comfortable. I’m very observant and take the extra steps to adapt to the moods of others. I hate hurting anyone, intentional or not, so i avoid it at all costs (even at the expense of getting “walked all over.”)
  7. I feel like i’m on the outside looking in when around my peers… it’s hard for me to relate to people my age and i almost always feel alone in the way i think.
  8. I used to make my dad watch Little Princess with me EVERY NIGHT before bed…. and he wondered why i was so infamous for tantrums as a youngin’.
  9. I used to go to the American Girl Doll show every single year at Columbus School For Girls with my two childhood best friends, Elizabeth and Katie.  I once won Felicity (one of the dolls) at said show!
  10. I used to have an irrational fear that I would die before I turned 18.
  11. I witnessed a miracle on Feb 1, 2008 :) so blessed
  12. I lived on a farm in Plain City, Ohio from the time I was born until I turned 4.
  13. I get overly excited by almost anything… “high off life,”  i guess you could say.
  14. I have a very romantic outlook on everything.
  15. I have been scarred from reading in public/public speaking since the second grade when my teacher told me to take a break and slow down in front of the whole class. I was reading a book I had made in the Bailey Elementary Publishing Shop, and the mixture of being excited to share what happened over my summer vacation—the theme of the book—and the fact that my mind processed words faster than my mouth could speak them caused me to read at 300000 wpm. No one could understand me. This still happens.
